Italy has over 250+ different varieties. Some are well known and others not so much. Join us for a "sip-sized" blind tasting learning session where we put the mystery of Italian grapes grown in Italy and elsewhere. Is it a Nebbiolo from Piedmont, or is it from Australia? Can you tell?
The Game Plan:
We’re tasting 5 curated sets of wines side-by-side. One or two Italian grapes vs. one International heavyweight (or maybe two Italians or two international). It’s the ultimate comparative tasting.
The Lineup with include the following grapes:
Arneis, Fiano, Pecorino
Sangiovese, Barbera, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto
Plus some interesting surprises! 12+ wines
No snobbery, just great wine and a better understanding of what’s in your glass.
